Platform modeled in Modo v16 and textured in Substance 3D Designer 2022. Video captured real-time using Recorder in Unity 2021. I make no claim of ownership over the original art or the final result I only intend to show my work in assembling everything.Īssembled, staged, lit, and animated in Unity 2017. I'm not an audio person, but I felt the video needed it. When I was done, I added music and sound effects. My task was to assemble those in Unity 2017 and add the platform model and particle effects, stage it, animate it, and optimize what could be optimized. I was given the sprite animations (as PNG image sequences), the 3d models of the chest and columns (UVed and textured), and the background image. To be fair, I did some animation way back in Unity 3.5, but things have changed a bit since then. This marks the first time I've done UI, audio, or animation within Unity (though I've done plenty of UI design implemented in Unity by others). It was a stretch for me, but I enjoyed the process (especially since I had to learn several new things to finish it) and the final result. This is the result of a technical artist art test.
